Tubular bind-off

    Newer Older

What a pain, but doesn't it look good?

I'm frustrated because I have several projects ALMOST done and I feel as if I have no time to finish any of them. Slow and steady, right?

    Pattern available here.

    Ravelry page here.

@yahaira: thanks! i hope so! i feel like i'm treading water right now!

@minty: but this is my problem! i have no knitting time, i just have a backlog of half-done projects. it blows.

I hate it when it all piles up, but inevitably you get to the end of the wave and you have a zillion FOs all at once! You'll get there!

It looks great! I've never tried the tubular bindoff, but I'm sure going to now.

Oh look, Elinor made another sweater with HD yarn! Is this an EZ Cardigan? I think the bind-off looks great; but, man is it fiddly.

Thanks, everyone! I just put the final product in for a soak! I hope to publish the pattern sometime next week.

@nova: Nope, but it's about as easy as one! There's a yoke chart with decreases in it instead of the EPS.

@gleek, nova, splityarn: Definitely worth it. And really, after doing it for so many edges, it becomes less fiddly and more routine.

Wow, that is a pretty bind off. I've not tried that one yet! Definitely makes me want to try. :)

Grey and purple is one of my favorite color combination. This cardigan is gorgeous.
