Left to right: Miss McLellan, Miss Nellie Brown, Miss Atkin, Dr. Jennie Drennan (without a cap), Miss Crane, Miss Rose Brooks, Dr. Robert Kains, Miss Rose, Miss Spitler, Dr. J.D. Curtis, Miss Walch. Dr. Jennie Drennan was one of the first practicing woman physicians in St. Thomas. The earliest was Dr. Margaret Corlis, who was practicing in St. Thomas in the 1880s. Yesterday, March 8, was International Women's Day.
