Virgin train

    Newer Older

I was seeing my mum off on this train and took the opportunity to take a few snaps while I was there.

I did a black and white version too but I thought the sepia was a wee bit different. Looks better viewed large on black.

Inspired by (although not nearly as cool as) Bullet Train by /\ltus.

Stunning image - great subject for HDR and I very much like the sepia contrast.

@ stonemayson - Thanks for your positive feedback :-)

@ /\ltus - Cheers bud! I've been wanting to do something like this since I saw your Bullet train photo but this isn't a patch on that!

Here's the black & white version...

Very nice shot! I like the colors very much. Personnaly, I prefer the sepia version.

Thanks can_ka_no_rey. I can't put my finger on why but I think I prefer the sepia version too.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Virgin & Cross-Country Trains, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.

Could you add both versions please?

Thanks for the invite killercyberman400, glad to add my picture to the pool. The b&w version is private so I'm not able to add it - sorry! Glad you like both versions though :-)
