Ghost Town - Flora - Oregon

Flora was once a thriving farming community. In the 1920s, nearly five hundred people called this remote part of Oregon home. By 1960, Flora had become a ghost town. Until recently little had changed, and the once prominent Flora school (white two story building on left hand side) had fallen into a state of disrepair. The school is now being restored to its former glory. The rest of the town, however, is still filled with empty homesteads and artifacts from a long gone era.
