Our Pets
Pictures of our dog Spike and our cats Huckleberry, Annabelle, and Drusilla, and Stephanie's kitty Lucy.

Spike is the most sweet, loving and well-behaved dog ever. I'm so lucky to have him. He's a chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix, and I got him from a neighbor who lived 2 doors down from my house on Pennsylvania Street. He was born in August of 2002, and has several sets of siblings who also live around downtown Indianapolis.

Dru Dru is a rescued kitty. She was rescued from outdoors as a baby, and I got her when she was about 1 year old. She's a blue-grey cat with green eyes and looks like a Prussian Blue. She's wonderful, but very needy, and she has a tendency to drool when you pet her. She also likes to chew on shoelaces, blankets, and curtains. But we love her anyway.

Of all my cats, Annabelle seems to do the most odd things. She's named Annabelle Lee after the Poe poem. Her brother is Huckleberry, and I adopted them as kittens.

Huckleberry is my little baby - my youngest kitty cat, and Annabelle's brother. I named him after Huckleberry Finn, one of my favorite books, because he looked like a little freckled, red-headed kid, which is how I always pictured Huck Finn.

Lucy is Stephanie's wonderful kitty. She was adopted from the Humane Society, and we wonder every day why someone would give her up, because she's a sweet, amazing cat.

There are photos here of my first kitty cat, Idgie, who was a bit frosty to people, but she loved me, and that's what counts. She's no longer with us.

We also have some pictures of shithead the cat - named because we discovered him dumped outdoors at a really inconvenient time and had to find a home for him.
