Cleo (shelter photo) - please scroll down.
I got a call from a friend of mine telling me about Cleo. The shelter's notes were saying that she was aggressive.
A person was sent to evaluate her, and her notes were "This is a psycho dog".
Then my friend called me, and asked me to re-evaluate her... she wanted to hear it from me.
I went to the shelter, and in less than 1 minute she was licking my face (video is coming up a little later).
Little Cleo was just terrified, and since she can't see that well, so once she had a hand touching her... she just snapped in order to defend herself. No one thought to approach her slowly and give her a second to realize what was happening.
In here she is doing great... she gained a whole pound so she now weighs 5 pounds!
Cleo suffers from a Medial Patellar Luxation (Grade III), and today (5-11-2011) she went to her first surgery (out of two), and we don't even have all the funds needed for the surgery (we're $300 short). Please help her walk normally again... she really had a rough life, and she deserves the best.
