Castianeira sp. m 9 mm P9012394 NTUsafti
It was the evening of the first sunny day at the end of gloomy week of incessant rain. The ants were having a busy time. I supposed they were moving homes after their old ones were flooded by the rain. This ant-mimic spider had me fooled initially as it was running among, though at a discreet distance, the similar looking big black ants. I was not certain until I isolated one and scrutinized, counting the legs and the eyes. When it runs it runs fast with its two front legs raised and pointing straight to the front.
