This would have been my M24 shot for the last assignment, "Strength." One has to have strength to be lucky and make their own luck, etc. However, I shot it so late I made it impossible for myself to meet the deadline. And that would be 2006-2008 in a nutshell. Not been the best of times.

"I can't read, haven't learned how to write
My whole life has been one big fight
    Born under a bad sign
I been down since I begin to crawl
If it wasn't for bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck at all"

Oh this is really love you. I definitely feel you on the time crunch... I've been feeling it too. H2C in three weeks?!?! wtf!

Thanks, ilse! I could certainly use the luck!

Three weeks! I could do it this weekend, if I had to. I've been working pretty hard, but I am glad I have the next three weeks to work on downhills and two-a-days and pray I don't get hurt or sick!

sorry 'bout the time crunch, that's a drag!

this, however, is a fantastic image!

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

Thanks!! It's from Ghostbones on Flickr. He has over 100 free textures to play with. Check him out :)

Thank you, Anaya! Everything is time-compressed right now. It'll calm down some day or year.

This is probably full of luck by now. It's nice to see someone who knows which way to nail the horseshoe up. Anyyyy minute your time crunch worries are going to be over. I feel it.......

Yes, I once was scolded for putting it upside down! I hope you are right about luck and time crunches :)

ooh, thanks for the texture link! and don't let the 24 hours to complete a mission thing get to you too much- I mean, in the end, this is all just about having fun. I think there's been a couple of nights when I chose sleep over completing a mission, and many nights where I should have chosen just to go to sleep, but didn't and regreted it the next day.

Great shot Peter. Sorry life is so hectic, been there, done that, only got lousy frown lines to prove it.
Virtual, calming rosy bear hug is sent your way...

Thanks, and you are welcome for the link, Nikki L. I try not to fret over missions, although I was bummed at missing my first a few months back. Life happens. There's always next time :)

Thanks rosy, for the photo comment, the frown line comments that made me laugh, and the hug I very much need!!

dont wait go for it....November Morning, 2004, as easy as that you will find yourself fortunate again =)

Thank you, Aihibed. In many ways, I am most fortunate. But, there are things happening that will take a while to sort out and there is very little time for me to do that. I seem to take photographs as a form of therapy these days : )
