Creepy Crawly Track (In the Great Wilderness of Tasmania)
I have taken this photograph in the Southwest National Park of Tasmania also known as "The Great Wilderness". With 618.267 ha this is the biggest national park in Tasmania and one of the intentions for its foundation 1976 was to create a retreat area for the Tasmanian Tiger which was actually already exterminated. Although the myth of Tasmanian Tiger is still alive because this area is still not fully explored and some sights from tourists of the Tasmanian Tiger has been reported too. The only road which allows access to this world heritage have been build to construct the Gordon Dam (water power station) which created the Gordon Lake.
I really recommend this short and easy walk through the rainforest.
