Xiuyi Bridge

The Xiuyi Bridge is the southernmost bridge within the Summer Palace in Beijing. The bridge is situated at the southern outlet of the Kunming Lake, and is the first bridge that Emperors passed under when they sailed to the Summer Palace.

Built in 1750, the bridge has withstood the passage of time and countless pairs of feet over it. The middle of the bridge bears a plaque with its name, written by Emperor Qianlong himself.
