On March 12, 2013, Congressman Markey joined Sara Nelson of the Association of Flight Attendants, her fellow colleagues, and Steve Sevier of the Coalition of Airline Pilots Association to push back against the new rules issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) that would allow small knives into airplane passenger cabins. Congressman Markey has introduced bipartisan legislation to reverse this misguided TSA policy.
