Subaru — You just got passed by a wagon!

Accidental awesome shots... Don't you just love them? Occasionally I'll be shooting a subject, and then think to myself "oh, that might look cool..." and I take a quick snap, never expecting it to lead to much.... Until I get back to the studio, and end up pulling something awesome out of nothing.

I guess 'awesome' is a little strong. Especially seeing as the larger audience here may not support my love of Subaru... This however, is my baby! Again, that may be an overstatement. But without a 'significant other' in my life I need some things to love, and right now it's my camera and my car. Together we go places, we explore, we create! Albeit a bit of a one-sided relationship... You get the idea ;-)

I had intended to upload something dedicated to a friend of mine, Kate, who is going through a tough situation... Alas I don't have a decent picture of a flower or something similar to offer up... I will in the next few days however. Stay tuned!

I've had a lot on my plate lately, which is rare. For the most part I have been editing photos for third parties that asked me for a few 'special' shots. I've been reluctant about who I accept request from, as the creative license I have with my own word doesn't always apply with people asking me for specific shots. There is always the possibility that someone will say its not what they were after, and that hurts. So, commercial application of my works are limited. I feel I need to broaden my portfolio before crossing that line. Anyone have any suggestions on the matter?

As allways I appreciate the comments and feedback you guys give me. So, if this shot is 'awesome' to you too, please let me know below!

Oh, and if you would like to see where this idea came from... Take a look at the following public Facebook album. The shot is down the bottom, I think this should be Subaru's new slogan!
