Spain 2 - Barcelona - Bag getting eaten

Whenever I go somewhere, I always have to get the shot of something eating my backpack. For some reason, the opportunity always seems to present itself. This creature is made of papier mache, and is a "gegante." Most of them are of people, and as you can see they are much bigger than life-size. During the Merce festival, they are paraded through the city day and night. Last time I was in Barcelona, the Merce festival was going on, and it was a blast.
