Black Onyx granite hearth surface, hearth apron and face, all oak stain grade wood mantle system, corbels ordered on line, custom made oak mantle, custom made two oak TV cabinets with compartment for electronics with smoke screen removable cover. The old before fireplace was mountain field stone. Because the upstairs bathroom flooded the entire main level, the previous contractor who handled some of the mold remediation removed the stone veneer...so we took advantage of the opportunity to bring the room up to date with a more modern, yet conservative look.
