Passy to Bir-Hakeim
The Number 6 of the Paris Métro crosses the Seine twice and both times over beautiful almost matching bridges. Once at the Pont de Bercy with the subway above the autos and bicycles supported by stone arches and here at the more famous Pont de Bir-Hakeim supported by art deco steel girders.
In this view, just above the Passy station those wide tracks of rubber tire fame make that more famous Seine crossing where the trains have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The next stop is Trocadero but walking uphill from Passy is a much better way to get to and a beautiful walk to "The Troc."
