The Web that is Us
Watching: Pale Blue Dot
These drops appear discreet, floating in their own little part of space, but they are all connected by the web and they depend on the atmosphere for their surface tension. We are the same. We walk the Earth on our own two legs, but we breathe the same air here where I live in Canada as they do in Australia or Norway. Air, water...our ecosystem is one.
One of my professional projects is the Desmog Blog. The desmoggers take aim at Public Relations campaigns designed to cloud the issues around climate change. It is a very successful project, and has won international acclaim.
Please join and help our non-profit website keep the pressure on those who would slow the response to climate change. It is an important issue...maybe the biggest one faced by this generation.
Even if you are a skeptic, I invite you to explore the blog and the resources we have compiled there for people just like you.
Thanks, and I hope you will forgive me for the cross-promotion - no money is being made here :-) The website is non-profit and is funded by donation and philanthropy.
