Strategic Steps for Global Action on Maternal Health Medicines
In collaboration with the Maternal Health Task Force, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and PATH, the Global Health Initiative presented a dialogue on maternal health commodities.

On September 27, PATH released a report during the UN General Assembly summarizing a series of policy dialogues on maternal health medicines with various stakeholders in Dhaka, Dar Es Salaam, New York, Seattle, and Washington, DC. This event highlighted key findings and policy recommendations from the report to learn what needs to be changed to increase access to quality maternal health supplies, including oxytocin, misoprostol, and magnesium sulfate.

Panelists discussed ways global and national policymakers, program managers, and advocates can partner to increase the quality, availability, and appropriate use of maternal health commodities and the impact that can be achieved.
