    i promised you yesterday i wouldn’t bombard you with loads of ‘puffin with sand eel’ pics!

    so here is a puffin with a brilliant catch instead – there is a lucky puffling down one of those burrows!

    im not sure what this fish is but this chap looked as proud as punch with it - and luckily there were no gulls around to steal it!

      Beautiful shot,Em !!! I'm hoping to get a few shots of these guys when I go down home this summer.They are the national bird of Cape Breton,Nova Scotia,Canada,after all so I must get some...hopefully. I love all the shots you have taken of them...just beautiful :-) !!!

      These puffin pics of yours are shots to savour - I've been back to look again a couple of times already.
      Well, I don't think I've ever seen a shot of a puffin with a fish as big as this - and it does look a bit like a young mackerel, so plenty of lovely omega 3 there for the lucky puffling!
