Al Gore at the Castro

When he walked in people stood up and applauded - the man who might have been. And for one brief and shining moment we could see Camelot. He was quite personable, inspiring, funny even. He struck me as more idealistic than his audience here and I thought no wonder they didn't let him win. I heard him speak earlier, too, at the Green Cities Expo about global warming.
