Josh Barrios, a mortarman from Torrence, Calif., working with Troop B, 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, lunges to a safe distance after firing a mortar during a mission, Dec. 16, at Camp Clark in Khost province of eastern Afghanistan.

      I believe a great photo sometimes starts in the mind and transfers to an image through the patience and or dilligence of the photographer..... A good helping of 'F8 & Be there' also brings on great images.....

      Generally they encapsulate a feeling along with it & I believ that this photo certainly does all that.... great action shot... Well Executed and presented....
