Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church

The high Hexogonal tower is actually the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and not an appartment or office tower. First time I've seen such a bell tower.

Berlin is not know for its highrises and the tower clock is only 53meters high.

The original Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church was build in 1891-1895, but was destroyed during the second world war. The old tower remains as a ruine and the new modern church was build around it in 1961-1963 by E. Eiermann.
