Rosewoods come in so many varieties that it can be challenging to identify some species. I have done my best here.

I carve these freehand using a typeface that I have developed over the last 25+ years of making these.

No stains or dyes are used to color the wood. They are finished with three coats of clear lacquer.

These are unique in that no two will ever be alike. Colors and grains vary dramatically within a species, often within a single tree.

I currently have 5 species on hand.
