Yesterday I was running on two hours of sleep, and today, well I'm running on three hours of sleep. Studio time, and work for today. Tired, really really tired.
On a side note, in the last few months or so, I reflected upon my work and felt disheartened. I'm sure I'm not the only who feels this way because at times we feel less motivated and we need some sort of spark or motivation. Whenever I feel this way, I watch my favorite movie, The Pursuit of Happyness. The basketball scene were Will Smith says;
"Don´t ever let somebody tell you, you can´t to something. Not even me, Alright? You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period."
Lately I feel my work has been improving whether it's myself experimenting, trying new ideas, or shooting a new style. Sometimes, it's yourself that needs to push yourself in order to achieve what you want because no one knows what you want exactly but yourself. As for me - Everyday for a brief moment, I close my eyes and whisper;
"Nothing in life is ever given to you, work hard, stay motivated, and stay driven. It may be hard now, but in the end it will pay off."
