Numereji Science Laboratory "Horizon" (1)

Red rover, red rover...

In the early 24th century, space agencies on Earth began sending landers to rocky, potentially "Earth-like" planets in deep space. After decades in transit traveling at a substantial fraction of the speed of light, only a handful returned data.

The lander sent to Numereji arrived safely and began sending data immediately. 14 years later, the data was received on Earth.

Build notes: Obviously inspired by Curiosity, but I specifically wanted to use the red suspension pieces, and "Red rover, red rover..." was stuck in my head. Now I might try to build a white one. I spent as much time on the landscaping as on the rover. :-\
