We decided to scout another location, this time Sketchy put on her Maka cosplay outfit she's working on for Anime Expo. We hiked up to this abandoned radio tower in the Santa Monica mountains. We decided to pretty much stay outside of the fenced off areas.
A bunch of stoner kids happened to be at the location at the same time. Neither of us appreciated the comments from them when they passed us on the way down the trail as they left. After the obvious stoned questions like "Are you doing a photo shoot?" and "Is this for a magazine, what magazine?" came, "Are you doing nudes? Do nudes!". So annoying.
Working really fast to get a few shots in before sunset, I decided to use color correcting gels so I could cool the scene a little to pop some of the colors.
When we got back to the car from our expedition, I decided to take just a few more shots before the sun went down completely. This was one of those shots.
After uploading this to Flickr, I noticed some color issues (especially around the Sun) that do not appear on my original copies from exporting or otherwise. Hmmf... Oh well...
