Moth and Echinacea [Explored #108, July 4, 2012]
A Fiery Skipper Moth enjoys a bit of echinacea on the morning of July 4th. Maybe he had a sore throat, I don't know!!
Not really my usual photography...I'll be honest, my wife made me take pictures of flowers. My mother-in-law writes a gardening blog, and she needed a photo of a certain flower.....uh, I believe it was a purple one (shows you how much I know about that)...but I got caught up in the early morning light with my 70-200mm f/2.8L...a bit of bokeh......and the rest is history.
