Close Call

One of the things I enjoy about landscape photography is the challenge of getting great conditions at stunning locations. Sometimes that means going back to the same place again and again. On this occasion, we thought we were going to get skunked. We packed up all our gear as the light went flat and the sky turned gray. But then we noticed a late break in the light. The sky filled with color just for a brief moment and reflected wonderful warm light on the white rock formations. I also loved how the clouds aligned with the rock formation. These are the moments you always remember as a landscape photographer!
