Zanis Waldheims
In June of 2009 I visited Montreal to meet with Yves Jeanson, a long-time friend of my grandfather, artist and philosopher, Zanis Waldheims.

Adopted, I grew up knowing next to nothing about my grandfather, or my family in general. On the first day of 2009, I stumbled across a site that Yves had made and dedicated to my grandfather's work and ideas.

This trip was a revelation of the highest order as I had a great opportunity to look at my grandfather's work, photographs, journals, sketchbooks and books while talking it all over with Yves.

It was a fortunate series of accidents that preserved this immense history, and was able to connect us all, completing a story that begin almost exactly 100 years ago.
