This past Saturday, and for the first time this year, I was able to get out and shoot some. I spent most of the day in middle-south Georgia. This is Ellis Grocery, and I wish I had some history on this place. Unfortunately, I do not. I have to give props to Brian Brown, as I found this place on his Flickr stream . If you haven't been to his Flickr site or his website Vanishing South Georgia , its definately worth checking out. Brian has documented many of the vanishing small towns in south Georgia, and as a historian, he knows a great deal about these places.

This is a great find and the composition and post are nice. I appreciate the weed on the left and the angle of the light also.

love! reminds me of many a horror movie...they start out in a dusty place in search of something, end up at an old gas station...and the rest is history. haha.

I can't believe I somehow missed this posting of yours Scott. You really did a wonderful job with the processing and that blue color in the wood siding comes our so nice and delicate.
