Very damn close but somehow a little too static and visually busy.

  • Pedal Faster 8y

I am quite fond of this scene and the highly detailed, telling capture of it.

oh man. that other shot in the safe is pretty great.
i can't wait for the time when everything old is new again, then maybe i'll have a chance!
  • Brien Applegate 8y

not bad, i would like it if it were more symmetrical

Si, la otra no significa que es mejor, simplemente diferente... en fin, siempre las comparaciones son odiosas. Hablas bien español! :)
  • Robin Thom PRO 8y

I don't speak Spanish worth shit.

    If English counts....

Did you replace the Nikon with the disposable he's selling?

I actually like this one better than the one already in the safe. I too think that b&w was a good choice and I liek the way this guys is kind of dwarfed and overwhelmed by all the 'news & entertainment'. Nice shot

    not too impressed, too cliched

  • More Altitude 8y

Superb framing- works great as b/w as the eye isn't distracted by colour, just the form, and the matter-of-fact expression of the shopkeeper. Nicely spotted and taken.

"Did you replace the Nikon with the disposable he's selling?"

oh, fuck that noise. i dig it.

the camera does not make the photo. the photographer does.

  • Jobbys 8y

@bennit Yeah my DM comment was a bit weak, and would agree the camera is ultimately irrelevant. Still not a winner for me however, especially when compared to the alternative.
  • francisco delatorre 8y

    :)

yeah that's right jobbys i've got me a FOOT SOLDIER, bitch!

don't worry about it, brit. DM is made of assholes, and i count myself among them. i leave this kind of comment on so many shots, it's only fair i get some of that acid thrown back at me.

besides, the only thing that really matters to me is that people like you like it! the rest is just a silly game.
  • Cindy Clayton 8y

The wee moustachioed one drowns in a sea of screeching newsprint. It actually looks a bit like a prison with horizontal bars . . . another gorgeously seen shot.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Amazing Image B&W: Explored, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Invitation into one of the groups of the Amazing Image series.

This group is part of a series. Its admin team invites all the images in the groups. So we have a collection of some of the most amazing images found on flickr in the form of high quality group pools concentrating on a narrow topic in each group.
