Jacob was standing in the old market square in the middle of Nottingham, talking to two friends. I was drawn to his hat, and how the tones in it complemented his skin tones, and thought he would be a good subject for my 100 strangers project.
I introduced myself and what I was doing, and although he thought it was pretty funny, and his friends were providing ample distraction (always a giggle!), Jacob was happy to pose for some photographs.
Jacob told me he was a teaching assistant in a school in Nottingham, and I had a brief discussion about this, as my brother works as a deputy head at a local school. Was cool to have common ground to chat about.
I took several shots, but chose this one as I liked the pose, and thought it had quite a chilled out feel about it- I got the impression that fitted well with Jacob.
