Cormorant Taking Off (20100723-142032-PJG)

The marshlands at Bis Marsh can be a pretty busy little waterfowl airport, a hectic time for air traffic control. :) Here we see the sand piper ground crew keeping an eye as the cormorant is preparing for take off. The mallard cleared out of the way. :) And yes, it was a take-off as I have more in the sequence that I shot. :)

I am going to be busy with visiting family for a couple of days, so thought to put this one up just for the heck of it. I will admit it is not a great shot, but sometimes I like them for the fun of it.

Taken at Bis Marsh, in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada.
