52/366: Trumpeting to the Sky

    Newer Older

One great thing about living on five acres is that I annoy fewer neighbors when I play my trumpet outside.

5 acres! I hope you have a riding mower!!!! Whew...that would be a workout, if not :o)

I love the trumpet, by the way...that was one instrument I wanted to play...but, unfortunately there were already too many people at my school who played it :o(

Oh well...I still enjoy listening to it :o)

Does that tree have it's fingers in it's ears? LOL - Just Kidding!

Another benefit... you can let the kids run around for days and burn off energy!

@Jenn: Not for the first few years...However, it is important to note that the wooded area you see in the background takes up about half of that acreage.

@Abbie: Would you like a private concert?

@Mike: It's never too late to learn!

@Geraldine: 26 acres? You have probably forgotten the definition of neighbor.

@Lynn: Except that Aragorn doesn't run...he just gravitates to the neighbor's chickens.

Lovely sky here. Great shot. Sorry, couldn't help but adding the tag: "tooting my own horn".

Its awesome that you play music!

@Kell: Music has been a pleasure in my life since my grandmother's piano found it's way into my bedroom when I was 5.

Cool shot, I love the clouds.

@Denise: I had to brighten the image because my shirt blended into the grass. It was difficult to do while keeping the cool look of the clouds. I guess, in your opinion, I was successful.
