Quay's Tower 1 - Lookout to Tower 2
Taken on our (me and akanekal's) urbex explore to the current development on Chatham Quay's, Dockside (Maritime Marina). More specifically, the two end apartment towers. As we moved higher up into the tower it became aparent that we were never going to get onto the roof. There was no access whatsoever, apart from that of a wooden ladder that we could have positioned across a lift shaft to shimmy up.... Was never going to happen.
We were content with the 15th floor, the view was still awesome. and the floor plan was a bit different, it allowed for me to head left a bit and get a shot of the identical tower (#2) to the left of tower 1. The small building to the left of tower 2 in this shot contains the underground car-parking (where we gained access from) as well as 3-4 floors of rooms/apartments obviously a bit cheaper than the ones in the towers.
