Henry's NSX

Henry Kosasih's NSX, Houston, TX, 2011

This photo was taken with an 85L. Scared of missing focus or having a dof that is too shallow I stopped down and made sure the car was sharp and in focus. Our shoot consisted of 2 locations: Rice University and Downtown Houston. This red NSX probably broke about 100 necks that day. It must feel awesome having that affect on people.

I absolutely love how sharp it is and it makes the NSX feels as though if it's a toy! I was wondering though, was there a whole lot of post-processing done in this picture? or was it pretty much right out of the camera?

Thanks. Pretty much out of the camera. The reason why it's so sharp is bc of the DOF by the 85L. I really want to re-edit and upload this again for a brighter exposure though.

Hmm, maybe you could probably brighten the body of the NSX so that the red brightens up a bit more. I think that's the only thing that will make the picture look much better than it is right now.

Don't get me wrong though, (not saying that this picture isn't perfect the way it is) I absolutely love all of your car photo-shoots. Definitely a motivation for me to get out and get better at photo-shooting some of my friends fixed up cars.
