Humphreys Peak from I-40 in Arizona

A scenic view of Arizona's tallest mountain, taken from the Buffalo Range Road interchange (Exit 225), about 30 miles east of the evergreen tree-filled city of Flagstaff.

The scenery in this photo is deceiving; about five miles after you pass this interchange (on I-40 westbound), junipers start to replace the flat brushland, then the closer you get to Flagstaff, the more the taller pine trees start to appear.

Nice shot. I went to college in Flagstaff and even climbed to the top of that mountain once. I also love how you suddenly climb into the pine on the freeway in a matter of miles.
