Bee-Flies Have Long Legs...

...and a very long proboscis! Another shot of a bee-fly (Bombylius major, I believe) in a patch of Japanese pachysandra at the Montreal Botanical Garden. This one seemed to be taking a short pause.


Pentax D-FA 100mm F/2.8 WR Macro plus Raynox DCR-250, with off-camera diffused Godox V850ii flash. Probably with the lens quite close to infinity focus...
