Sitticus on a Rock (#1)
Found this adorable tiny jumping spider - most likely a female Sitticus sp. - chilling on a pile of rocks in the backyard.
I know I need more magnification that my usual setup to photograph these minuscule jumping spiders. Here I used a Pentax-M 135mm F/3.5 plus Raynox MSN-202 diopter, with off-camera diffused Godox V850ii flash. Twelve-frame handheld focus stack. 18MP crop to 16:10 aspect ratio. Frame is about 6.5mm wide here.
UPDATE: Explored for May 18th at #83!
