Photo geek info: Pentax k100D with an old Minolta 4000AF, set on half power, and triggered with cactus V2s. Yay! I finally got to take my off-camera flash out to play.

This is a truly awesome photo. What's this off-camera flash thingy?

Thanks Andrew. The flash is on a tripod at the bottom of the picture, triggered by a radio remote on the hotshoe of my camera. I managed to get the trigger for about £20 (Sammy ebayed for me from Hong Kong), and the flashgun was £15 - an old one in a camera shop. The flash won't work on automatic on my camera - its the wrong type, but the crucial thing is that you can manually set the flash power. With a bit of trial and error, you can come up with the right exposure. Yay for digital.
