Kodak Retinette Film Series - 24/32 - Dacora Dignette

This is one of the other vintage cameras in my collections: a Dacora Dignette. Another fairly cheap camera in it's day. Unfortunately the shutter in this one is a bit sticky so is unusable. However, I think it looks great - particularly the coating on the viewfinder, and the sticker which pretends to be a rangefinder.

This goes to show that the focus dial on the front of the Kodak I was using here isn't very accurate. I was the correct distance away according to the dial, but as you can see the camera is slightly out of focus, whereas the strap at the back is in focus. Never mind... I'll just be careful when doing close-ups in the future!

For this series I am uploading a new shot every day for a month which I took on the first roll of film I tried in a vintage Kodak Retinette camera I have. To see the rest of the shots in this series, take a look at this set.
