Liathach & Loch Clair, Glen Torridon
On a December morning at dawn I again found myself by Loch Clair in Glen Torridon. The sky went through the full range of colours, from pre-dawn blue, to a subtle pink as the sun rose, and then back to blue again. With little cloud in the sky there was not the drama I had hoped for. However, at one point the breeze dropped and the reflection in the loch was spectacular, while the few wisps of cloud just managed to catch some of the rays of the rising sun.
