The Aggie Milky Way

Prints are now available

So I drove out to Reagan,Tx Sunday night and I set my camera up on a tripod.

I have been researching about astrophotography but this was my first shot at it. I set my ISO to 4000 and took a 30 sec exposure at a low aperature and I what I saw was this beautiful milky way over the Texas A&M Barn.

As some of you might have noticed I have light the barn up a little bit. What I did to do that was I took two L.E.D. bike lights and I light painted them against the building for about three seconds.

I waited for the shot to develop and when I looked at the back of the camera my mouth dropped.

Need less to say Monday night is a new moon and I will being taking the hour drive again.
