Longniddry Wreck

    Newer Older

Spent a few hours down at Longniddry Bay today at the old wreck. Inspired by Allan England and Anita's recent shots from here so thanks for that to you both. I've never even been here before and I only live 6 miles away!

The two pieces of wood nearest the camera really jump out at you, highlights a sense of danger! Great composition! She's like a giant woodlice on it's back!!

This is amazing - the treatment you've given this is spot-on. The remains are like skeletal ribs protruding and the contrast of this with the smooth water works so well.

Aberlady Bay is much further along at the nature reserve? It has the X submarine wrecks and I think you're thinking of the fishing boats in Aberlady Bay.....?
