Crazy Photographer!
Last weekend at the Bird TLC Autumn Wings Festival, there were several photographers around this great little Porcupine who as a baby was raised as a family pet but eventually (thankfully) ended up with the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.
There were several of us doing exactly what this fellow is doing, taking photographs very close up of the Porcupine! But the Porcupine seemed to love it and his handler from the Conservation Center said it was "OK." In fact, she said the Porcupine loved the attention!
But the frightening thought is that I'm sure I looked just like this fellow when I was taking photographs of this very sweet Porcupine! :)
