Watts Towers (Slide Film)

    Newer Older

    Watts, California, 2006

Last month at Freestyle here in L.A., I picked up a roll of expired Fuji Astia slide film (ISO 100) for my inaugural foray into shooting with expired film.

fetching, craig moreschini, and 32 other people added this photo to their favorites.

      Thanks, Lane.

I am actually more pleased with this than the digital stuff I got down there.

Superb. I've only ever really encountered these in Grand Theft Auto ; )

Good to see the real ones. Your shot's a whole lot clearer than in GTA, but then I'm usually too busy speeding past and shooting rival gang members to clock the details.

      Nice shot.

      PS: I thought ALL film was expired!!! It's 2006 - we're all 100% Digital these days baby! ; )

You had a 35mm camera with you? Good thing I don't work for the CIA -- I didn't even notice... True, digital is environmentally friendly and all, but the colors are always better on film.

i'd say you first attempt at expired film was a big success. this one just has a real nice simple feel to it and i agree with Ed, the colors are sooooo nice.
