my studio...

this side of my studio looked like this for the longest time
but now it has had a little 'happy' makeover to match my sewing nook

on the lookout for another chair to avoid 'shuffling' my chair to and fro :)

oh thank you my dearies :)
i had been thinking about doing the drawers a different color or papering them, but after 4 flipping coats i'm not touching it :)

lola, it was done with a brush and the added help of little olive upon my lap. it has indeed been the 'crappiest of crappy' painting tasks i've done on a piece of furniture... i painted it in situ but when all is said and done, i'm glad i did :)

      Oh looks fabulous!!!
If I had such a pretty spot as this...
I would be "working" all day...
It does look like it was a lot of work thou...well worth it...

an even cheerier and prettier workspace than the last. white paint on the desk is just sheer brilliance! and i also dig the warm and tidy wood drawer unit. the lampshade and jesus stature are the magic touches :)

      goodie true shoes,
indeed i was thinking little scraps on the drawers, perhaps in time i will...
the lampshade is the original one i just covered it in an old pillowcase...

and yes i rather like my orange jesus too, when i found him he was all over brown, so i just made him a little brighter... i like his bling best of all :)

I agree, with a space like this I would adore working! I mean that! I'm pretty sure ;)

Where are the tearouts from? Are they your photos? You really should style for a magazine. They are giving me ideas for a catalogue I have to put together. I actually was thinking last night that I need to ship all my stuff to you and have you style and photograph it for me. Problem solved, LOL

Right then, now that I have thoroughly ransacked your flickr, your blog, your shop (although that one was empty while you are abroad) I have answered my own question. I still need you to put together my catalogue AND make me a website, K? Brilliant. Cheers :)
