Bryn's Big Sing - Royal Festival Hall

Bryn's Big Sing was a wonderful free singing event held on The Riverside Terrace of the Royal Festival Hall and Queen's Walk Southbank on Saturday 7th July 2012. The afternoon started with a communal rehearsal led by Mary King and conductor, Tim Rhys Evans - to get our tongues round the words of Welsh hymns and our vocal chords warmed up. Then the Welsh Male Voice Choir of the World, the Cory Band arrived and finally, Bryn Terfel himself joined us. We sang Cwm Rhondda, Men of Harlech, All Through the Night, and Land of My Fathers together with Bryn and Bryn treated also us to a solo perfomance of David of the White Rock and Myfanwy. There was a large and appreciative crowd of us on Queen's Walk and it was an incredible experience. Thank you!
