Cornmarket Street Cork

Cornmarket Street locally known as "the coal-quay" has always been a place of open markets trading and bartering. Cork County Council have done a great job with the city over the past decade.

    National Library of Ireland on The Commons Me too mine is boring by comparison. It is close to the same spot today which I thought was cool. I love all your photos and I'm happy to have had a little contribution on Cornmarket Street ^_^

    who remembers Annie Punch's shop? that was when the coal quay was vibrant and all manners of people was to be found there. the Lady Stall holders was a class of their own.
