Point Judith Lighthouse

Mike Dooley Photography | Facebook | Twitter | google+

The Point Judith Lighthouse, as seen from the South Shore Management Area at sunrise. It was raining when I left the house, but I had already made coffee so I went anyway.

After arriving at 4:45 and getting all set up for this shot in the pitch dark, a fisherman walked up and set up about 15 feet in front of me. At first I considered clubbing him with my tripod, but hollered out "Good Morning!" back at him. I turned my iPod up a little louder and belted out what I felt was a beautiful rendition of "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes, followed by a very spirited version of "Country Girl Shake it for Me" by Luke Bryan.

The fishermen moved on, and I got my shot :-)
