Anyone lose a cat? Cat Found? Lost Cat? Only in LA

    Newer Older

A friend of mine sent this to me. I do not know where it was taken or who took it. I am assuming that it was taken somewhere in California only because the poster says the "cat" was found on Sunset BLVD. Not sure if this is real or a joke. Either way its too funny to not post on Flickr.

We rolled out of the chair laughing when we saw it for the first time, too! Had to share with our flickr friends!!

This is great. California Opossums are nasty little beasts.

Hi loveberries and TElliott! Well, the poster says a lot about their personality.... and it's not pretty! LOL!

That is a disgusting possum! As a small child in South Texas, we were taught to "loathe and fear" possums as countless children had to endure the rabies shot series after they reached to pet the "kitty."

living in a country that doesn't have rabies makes me respect our quarantine laws even more, that would be an awful thing for little children to go through,
..our possums are so much cuter, here's one that comes around my sons' place after the food they leave for it, although they are a pest when you are trying to grow vegetables!
      meeting the neighbours....

BTW, gramarye, that is a very cute opossum!
Yes, we have been taught to be wary of rabies, dog.happy! There have been wild dogs or skunks in the area with rabies. We don't dwell on it, but are careful when animals seem to act "stangely".

Fake or not, I'll be making a few of these up with a local street name and nailing 'em up :-)

I might add "Answers to Leonard"
Opossums are not cute in an urban environment. IN the rural area they play an important part in the eco system.
I had one go after my cats a few years ago, and sadly his wheel had to turn.

Like your sense of humor wrightedwardm.... let us know how it goes with the "cat poster" in your area. Heh heh!
Don't blame you... I would draw the line there, too.

Its fake, the original one was about an australian possum, that o'possum picture is from the internet.
